Ben my friend… i really did enjoy your work! i glad you have started posting your stuff i am definitely going to keep reading and checking. (AMERICA II…… i loved it) we need to get together some time. it would be cool to catch up!
these shadows have names that don’t make any sense,
and there are friends i haven’t spoken to ever since
that day in May when i disappeared and went
far enough away to study up on innocence.
Hooray — great to hear from you! I’ll keep an eye on the blog, though I can’t promise too many in-depth comments until I’m done with my thesis in mid-July. I’m going backpacking for a few weeks with my brother and then I should be back in Indy sometime in early August. We’ve got to catch up! Oh, and I’m also seeing Radiohead this summer… June 25, London’s Victoria Park. I can’t wait.
i’m enjoying starting to work through what you’ve written.
Most blogs have to go through what Seth Godin calls “The Dip.” This basically says that the public wants things that trusted, tried, and true–with emphasis on tried. If you’re consistently blogging in niche, people will start to find you organically.
To jump start things, you can submit your posts to digg-like sites. Also try interacting with other bloggers that are in your niche. Leave comments and be active.
ben, i love your words.
all those days and nights we watched you carry around your little book of writings. it is good to “hear” from you again friend.
Hi Ben,
We were wondering how things were going for you and came upon your blog through facebook. It looks like life is going well these days
. Keep writing!
